A violent clash between rival youth groups in Wa resulted in several injuries and the burning of two motorbikes, after a nightclub altercation over the weekend escalated into early-morning revenge attacks at Niima Camp.
Wa, Upper West Region – Multiple people have been hurt, and two motorbikes destroyed following a violent dispute between youth groups from Kambali and Jengbayiri in the Wa Municipality.

The conflict reportedly originated from an argument at a nightclub on Sunday night involving members of both groups. The disagreement allegedly escalated into retaliatory violence in the early hours of Monday.
Sources say that around 3:00 a.m., suspected members of one group stormed Niima Camp, where they reportedly vandalized property belonging to an individual believed to be a leader of the group.
Tensions reignited later that day when two young men from Kambali reportedly rode motorbikes into Niima Camp. Witnesses say they were attacked with cutlasses, suffering various injuries. Their motorbikes were also set ablaze and severely damaged during the clash.
Several individuals reportedly sustained cutlass wounds and other injuries. The victims are now receiving medical treatment, though police and health officials have not yet confirmed the exact number of casualties.
The Upper West Regional Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. Security has been increased in the area to prevent further violence.
